Bringing data across from another CRM

Export a CSV from whatever you are on now and upload it. You get a column mapping and a preview, and nothing is written until you approve it. Contacts, deals, notes and tasks come across, with tags on the contacts. That is the whole list: the importer writes those four kinds and nothing else, so calls, texts and email history from your old system do not come with them. The preview is the safety net — there is no one-click undo afterwards, so check the mapping before approving. Large files are fine; it processes in the background and tells you when it is finished.
