Texting from Facreo

Before a workspace can text, its number has to be registered with the mobile carriers (A2P 10DLC). That is a form we submit and the carriers review; it usually takes a few business days and it is not something we can speed up. Until it clears, sending is refused outright rather than queued: you get a message saying texting is not active yet, and nothing is held to go out later. Your plan includes 500 text segments a month for every seat it allows, pooled across the team rather than split per person — a segment is 160 characters, so a long text counts more than once. Going over does not stop anything and nothing is charged automatically; the published rate is $0.02 a segment and we talk to you before anything is billed. Sending only ever pauses at 1.5× the allowance, which is there to catch a runaway rather than to hold you to a budget, and support can lift it straight away. Picture messages (MMS) are not supported — text only.
