Messaging Terms
Text messages sent to you through Facreo — who they are from, why you are receiving them, and how to stop.
Who is texting you
Facreo is software made by Facreo Systems LLC. We do not send you marketing of our own. The messages you receive come from a real estate brokerage or property manager that uses Facreo to talk to its clients — the agent or company you enquired with, signed with, or rent from. Every message identifies that business by name.
How you gave consent
You receive messages only if one of these is true:
- You submitted your phone number through the business’s website or a lead form that disclosed you would be texted about your enquiry.
- You gave your number in person — at an open house, a showing, or their office — and were told you would be texted about the property.
- You are an existing client, buyer, seller, owner or tenant, and gave your number as part of an active transaction or tenancy.
- You signed a listing, lease or representation agreement that includes consent to be contacted by text.
- You asked to be texted during a phone call, and the request was recorded against your contact record.
Consent to receive text messages is never a condition of buying, selling, renting or of any purchase. You can decline and still do business by phone or email.
What you will receive
Messages relate to your enquiry or your transaction: property details and links, showing and appointment times, document and signature reminders, and replies from your agent. They are conversational — a person is on the other end.
Message frequency varies with your transaction. It is typically a few messages a week and rises around an active showing schedule or a closing.
Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan. Facreo Systems LLC does not charge you for these messages; your carrier may.
How to stop
Reply STOP to any message. You may also reply STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END or QUIT. You will get one confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and then nothing further.
Opting out is honoured automatically and immediately by Facreo — it does not depend on anyone reading your reply. To start again, reply START.
How to get help
Reply HELP to any message and you will receive contact details for the business texting you. For a problem with Facreo itself, write to support@facreosystems.com.
Carriers
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is best-effort and depends on your carrier and your device.
Privacy
Your phone number is used to contact you about your enquiry or transaction. It is not sold, and it is not shared for anyone else’s marketing. Mobile opt-in data and consent records are never shared with third parties for marketing purposes. See the Privacy Policy for the full account.
Changes
Any change is posted here with a new effective date.
